Nas
I could care less what he calls his album.
I'm still going to listen to it.
It's still gonna be at least half-dope
it's still NOT gonna be Illmatic so everyone's going to grumble about it
and he's still going to be thought-provoking and brooding and contradictory and weird
and then, every now and then, drop little glimmers of brilliance.

It's the 'I don't give a fuck' in me: it's stuck in me
Tone Tank, half of rap duo Iller Than Theirs has released a dope free EP (a freEP?) with this awesome Knucklehead guy on the cover.
The concept is hardcore and punk breaks made into beats and rapped over. Production by Doc Strange, J. Howells Werthman, and Scott Thorough. Although I don't know who did what beats. The whole thing is a banger though.

Tonight
Catch Old Money at R Bar on Bowery.
If you like songs about hair cuts then this one is for you. These kids have both good style and a good sense of humor.
here's the z-share:
Old Money - Steve Harvey
Hey ! (The sequel)
Junk Science has teamed up with The Boys and Girls Club to release this sequal to "Hey!" off their recent disc "Gran'dad's Nerve Tonic". The two groups styles combine to form this catchy pop space rap song.
In my mind this song reminds me of the eighties in some imagined abandoned russian space capsule inside of which are posters for Duran Duran and RUN DMC, empty cans of tab, a rubix cube, back issues of MAD Magazine, and Max Headroom delivering the "Hal" monologue from "2001: A Space Oddesy" to a group of test monkeys.
Too vivid?

The Petting Zoo
So this producer from the UK named Bullion mashed up Beach Boys songs with J. Dilla shit and made a dope beat tape.
I'm sure a lot of you internet people saw in it on the internet.
So then StarPower from The Dugout raps over the whole thing and turns it into this dope rap tape.
And I've been listening to it alot.
